The Story Behind the Name: Thrtyfive
Every creative journey begins with a story — and Thrtyfive is no different. When it came time to name the brand, I wanted something that felt honest, meaningful, and rooted in the reason I started creating in the first place. It had to be something that connected deeply with photography, videography, and storytelling.
Here’s the story behind the name Thrtyfive — and why it felt like the perfect fit.

Inspired by the 35mm Camera
Thrtyfive is a quiet nod to the iconic 35mm film format — the kind of camera many of us first picked up when we started exploring photography. There’s something timeless about it. For decades, 35mm has been used by everyone from street photographers to filmmakers to document the real, the raw, the beautiful.
It represents everything I love about visual storytelling — the patience, the intention, and the ability to freeze moments that matter. At Thrtyfive, that’s what we’re all about.
Why "Thrtyfive" Without the "I"?
I dropped the “i” on purpose — not just to stand out, but to simplify. There’s something about removing just one letter that made the name feel modern, bold, and a little different — and I liked that. It feels clean, minimal, and just a bit unexpected.
For me, it also speaks to the idea that creativity doesn’t have to follow the rules. You can take something familiar and make it your own.
That’s what Thrtyfive is.
A Name That Means Something
Thrtyfive isn’t just a brand name — it’s a reminder of where this all started and what drives me today. Whether I’m capturing a brand’s campaign, telling a love story through film, or just chasing light with my camera — the intention is always the same: to create something that feels real.
And that’s what the name is all about.
